Rushbourne Manor

The land is situated within the Rushbourne and Tile Lodge Conservation area and the farmstead is considered to be Curtilage listed. The proposed development is mixed, with two properties being conservation projects and a three unit new build emulating a previous historic barn that was damaged during the Storm of 1987.

The units are amongst the rolling hills of the Kent Downs, providing an escape from the hustle and bustle of Canterbury, which is only a ten minute drive away. The site is on an active farmstead meaning that its occupants can enjoy walking through fields of crops toward vistas that reveal some of the finest Kent countryside.

Also, Sturry train station is only a stone’s throw away providing an average journey time of one hour and eight minutes to London St Pancreas. The area also boasts some of the finest schools such as St Edmunds School, Kings School and The Canterbury Primary School.

Broadoak Heritage are carrying out the mobilisation of the site. This includes Heritage BIM modelling, enabling the review of site activities in virtual reality to identify improvements in efficiency and cost before and during construction.
